1001 MORE things you can do with faction points

Except that is entirely impractical. And also that'd affect your own ships as well. You can't cover your entire territory with that. The point of it is to prevent your enemies from just jumping past your fleet.

      Invulnerability and Base Raiding

We brought this up earlier: Look here. There are 4096 sectors in a system. This would result in a drastic reduction in claimed territory, making mining harder and making boarder conflicts harder to have. I'll put up a picture soon(tm) Yes, let's encourage boxy stations amd ships. Come on, that...

1001 MORE things you can do with faction points

Let's not get specific with the numbers here. The costs might need to vary with territory size or faction count., and also there should be the option to set different intensity for some of them (like gold rush) Also, these should be continuous things, costing FP every minute rather then having...

      Invulnerability and Base Raiding

What do you mean by "radius of invulnerbility?" If it means ships in that area are invincible, that means meaningful combat can't take place there. The claim space would probably be measured in sectors, not in KM. I like the idea that players can do something to boost a station, but I'm not...

      Invulnerability and Base Raiding

No. There is no way to prevent an enemy from claiming the sector your homebase is in, and then destroying it once the invulnerability is gone. So the question is, how do you get people to team up into factions? Perhaps let each player make a faction base their own personal home, at the cost of...

      Hologram area trigger

Well, if we had a hologram block, why not put it on the rail entity, and put the area trigger on the parent entity? The area triggers are nonphysical, so you can move docked entities through them and they won't set it off. And since the parent entity handles the logic, no need to have wireless...

      Invulnerability and Base Raiding

The "How to protect" section is laughable. Completely laughable. With that kind of protection no one would want to play online. It's dumb because you can't always have someone online. People have jobs, they have social lives, they have to sleep. All it takes is one titan on when no one else is...

      HP based mining

I think the hardest part would actually be managing storage of the resources.

      New build helper: Hexadecagon

Sure. Do you mean hexadecagon rather than hedron? Because according to wikipeidia there are like 30,000 different 3d shapes that could be considered hexadecahedrons.

Factory on ship greater than 250K blocks

Putting factories on ship has been dicussed for a while by the devs, but it isn't on the roadmap yet.

      Invulnerability and Base Raiding

Absolutely not. You want the defenders to be able to react even if they just went to bed and won't be logging in until after they get home from work. So if you have a period where the attackers have to stay in/near the base for a day or more, you're telling them not to play the game for that...

      Invulnerability and Base Raiding

Well, as long as the capture system works for other bases, it might be easier to capture the base than destroy it. As for how the capture system would work, I'm thinking maybe just a bubble - or rather, the players need to get within a certain distance of the faction block, determined by the...

      Invulnerability and Base Raiding

Well, first, we have the initial TCM of the planet (before anyone claimed it) as well as the initial HP (the HP before anyone claimed it - which should be stored separately from the HP before combat started) and we can use those to figured out if a planet has been bombarded to death. I'm...

      Invulnerability and Base Raiding

Okay valid point. Maybe just a straight up limit on the total mass of the fleet? I'd rather have a fleet mass limit than a ship mass limit. Well, the planet core itself won't be giving any TCM, right? So what if the plates are scattered around a bit? You're still getting the TCM from the bases...

      Invulnerability and Base Raiding

Maybe instead of having a maximum mass for an individual ship, instead you have a max amount of ships you can have out of storage at a time? So even a tiny faction can have a titan, but it's strategically limited by burning down their FP whenever they activate it.

      Invulnerability and Base Raiding

Well, what if you've already scouted the area? We need a better map system - and I'm talking about the ability to buy and sell maps, as well as remembering what a player "knows" These will be on by default, right? Maybe this should be the default for newly created factions. After all, a...

Better Faction Control: Private Systems + Faction Tax

Maybe only asteroids in claimed sectors respawn? That way factions that want a large fleet (and the upkeep that comes with it) needs a large territory?

      Invulnerability and Base Raiding

I was thinking that the capture system, whatever it is, should work for all bases. So yes you can just destroy the base with a long-range missile barrage, but if you capture it then you get to use it yourself. Even if we keep system ownership, this would still eliminate the need to blow up...

Read by Council Grid based logic computer system

Hmmmm.... Perhaps a "function" block would be better? I can't imagine that Schine would remove the logic blocks. Also, rail/area trigger blocks would still need to be seperate.
