I imagine that the feature would allow an admin to let a star swell up like in real life for some time before going nova.
Besides, if a star collapsed into a black hole, if anything way orbiting it the orbits would not instantly degrade. They would only start to fall in once the black hole...
So something like a 100 damage pulsar, when set to 100% stop, will do 500 stop "damage?"
I've suggested giving a boost to full effect weapons before, but this would also go well with this.
Actually pretty simple, all you need is a block with a partially or completely transparent texture that does not have the transparent tag on it. However, that will only work if you don't have corridors or things in the way.
I came up with these a while ago (as you can tell by the UI scheme.) during one of the many other threads about this. If the devs are listening to this, I'd figure I'd post them here.
The one thing I hadn't put on here was import/exporting lists. List format would be some identification of the...
Nice ship.
Yes - go into the structure menu (default key is delete) and look under rail system - there is a button there. No way to do it automatically, but it will let you reset them when you need to.
The rail enhancers should chain through the system. And they need to be severely buffed. Currently it takes 25 power to add 3.5 mass.
So currently it takes 7 million power to dock a 1 million mass ship.
Or, the most you can dock with 1 million power is 140,000 mass.
Like the wireless logic, perhaps?
So on one structure: storage1 -> wireless cargo block
And on the other: wireless cargo block -> storage2
would look like storage1->storage2
No, people will just get around that with third-party tools. Plus no other game has anything like that restriction, for good reason. It'd really seem off to a lot of newcomers.
Well, that'd make life a pain. After all, one needs power to move.
This, would probably go in the options/esc. meny, but yeah.
One of things I notice for that is you can't tell which way a rail is facing unless you can see the docking face. I'd suggest making the direction indicator larger than a block face.
Actually, with larger ships more power is spent on thrust than weapons.
Just came up with an idea to encourge large ships to be slow and small ships to be fast: the pwoer cost is the number of thrusters to the TWR. With high number of thrusters (and therefore a high thrust) the TWR will...
