      It's great when it's more about "where goes what room" or for turret layouts. Often people just build ships and want a cool design, and then it's better to actually draw than to use the blocks.

      That's not what I am talking about. I said I want to deconstruct ships automatically and not manually via entering build mode. Because manually I have to deconstruct the turrets too, on smaller corvettes around 12. That's annoying.

      7 to one is a pretty straightforward answer. Are there actually not more people who turned them off? :D So if I guess right now, if I make a station for many people, it will be 4 out of 5 (and that's very positively rounded, one out of 10 seems reasonable) see the logic pipe mess. Meeeh.

      I think if you go for more than one block depth of armor you are good to go. I can't imagine an armor system, that only needs one block thick armor. So I think more layers.
