I cannot test this till later tonight but I am curious if this will work. Use a fixed dock to attach a power supply to your ship or station and then dock a turret directly to the power supply. This whey you wouldn't have to have your power supply rotate with the base of the turret.
It was not engineered to fight that way I had no computer issues. Clearly having a better thrust to mass ratio can keep you out of that line of fire of another ship or keep you on target.
My ship only had about 1.6 million e/sec in recharge I could only do so much damage and still be able to...
I could not move and turn fast enough to get out of the way of your guns. Having more power from docked reactors is the way to go form both a weapons and thrust standpoint. My ship was crippled long before it overheated so having more anti-hull weaponry might not be all that important.
Lots...
An ordering of placement in which you could watch the individuals systems being placed would be awesome.
I would like to see the systems blocks placed first. Power weapons thrust and such so you could see the way the way the systems are laid out.
Followed by the shield system, these tend to...
The problem is not having enough room for items. The problem is in sorting items. I use a centralized sorting and storage system on my home base and the shipyards are connected to that storage. If there is not enough room in the storage of the shipyard the items can end up in the wrong...
My concern is with ships that contain more types of blocks than can fit into the shipyard computer.
I should do more testing to see if this is a real problem or not.
I have recently started using shipyards and connected the shipyard computer to my storage system. It occurred to me that if I were to have the shipyard dismantle a ship the parts would go into some random storage unit.
I suppose there could be a workaround for that or maybe I can set up the...
