      Changing swarm missiles

Nah, change the power, change the armor, change the weapons, CHANGE ALL THE SYSTEMS! Seriously, I'd think it would be better if ratios mattered more, and if above 100% secondaries had their uses. EG: a 5:15 main:sub Swarmer that had better spread/speed/evaisionOfPD than a 1:1, a 5:15...

      The New "Vanilla Standard"

Docked thrust has no benefit last I checked, It somewhat hampers your thrust because you have to manually inherit it. Docked Hull still applies it's mass penalties. Self-sustaining turrets are not really that much of a buff except VS NPCs (and players too poor as pilots to range, maneuver, and...

Crew as a way to limit turret/drone spam, encourage warfare, and induce maintenance costs

Not so sure about food, but pay and crew, yessir. I think it would be good to be able to "assume control" of your(or your faction's) NPCs rather than just spawning too. As both a method of empire control, and a psudo fast-travel to anywhere you've sent explorer NPC.

Just to double-check: have you run a memtest program? Video-card problems usually mean BLACK screen of death, blue screen is usually from broken memory sticks, which are MUCH easier and cheaper to replace. The actual error on the blue screen is helpful to check in the microsoft database too. Use...

      The New "Vanilla Standard"

Eh, any sci-fi that has gravity-control negates any structural impact from maneuverability. It's only ever the wetware(crew) that really suffer from quickly maneuvering (for the same reason centrifugal gravity works) in sci-fi without gravity manipulation. That's where Sheer Modulus comes into...

      The New "Vanilla Standard"

Wait, they're ON now? So they give NPCS the aux regen? I thought that was only for space stations? When did they ninja that in for ships? Either way, that's at best a linear e/sec, while thrust per block is still a logarithmic drop, maneuverability is equally a logarithmic drop, Jump charge...

      An Immersive Astronaut Weapon/Item System

I agree. I also think that making weapons/armor/helmets out of BLOCKS could be an answer. EG any blueprint under 1000 blocks could be "converted" into a weapon/item with activating it causing all the weapons onboard to discharge. The same could be true for armor/helmets, only they would provide...

Bigger ships move slower, charge jump slower, are larger targets etc... There is quite literally WAY TOO MANY debuffs (AND EXPONENTIAL debuffs at that!) to larger ships. Bigger ships can NOT be "masters of everything." In fact, if you go bigger, you MUST specialize. Anyone who thinks that a...

      New lock-on missile bug?

This sounds like an old sector-border issue, where if the target was a little across a sector boundry the missiles would take a strange path to get to target. Back when I last saw it, I managed to pin it down to across sector border, with rotating sectors turned on, in small(less than 5km)...

      Bug Possibly Corrupted Blueprints

Wow, I got sourced. You did your homework. Have you tried a rollback to a version around when they last worked? You should be able to do that from the launcher, just scroll to a version from around& a little after you last played. I'd reccomend doing this in a different install directory (eg...

      how do i server?

To add to SD's testing: -Run dedicated server -open second client, go to multyplayer, in manual entry type "localhost:4242" (or127.0.0.1:4242) If you cannot connect to that instance, either SCREENSHOT or COPY PASTE the error message you're getting: It's REALLY hard to guess exactly what is...

HA! Nice! WC:P Is still one of my all-time fave games. I never could finish it's storyline though. I always got lost taking "uncharted" jumps into kilrathi space and playing at space-eugenics. I also chose the tarsus for my "Only needs scrap" challenge build. Take a look if you're interested in...

That's what worries me. How old of videos? Yes, I believe you need the right kind of transfer rail now, for each operation seperately.

      StarMade v0.199.654 - Exploit fixes

Totally get that "general isn'ttoo helpful" It's just all I could add on that particular computer. Is there a thread-watcher function on the GUI I can bring up with something like F1+I? Or some other convienient debug I can watch once the lock-up happens?

      StarMade v0.199.654 - Exploit fixes

I've found that with large semi-occluded objects on rails the "rail freeze" desync happens "somewhat often". That translates to "a matter of time each session" on one particular build. I'll horse around on my current build over the weekend and see if I can make trigger conditions more reliable...
