It has to do with the new content from the dev build, you place battery blocks and put an icon in the hotbar and click it to recive energy.
The amount of energy a battery generates is dependent on block count and the storage works like capacitors.
well you need cash to make claim stations, and the only way to get cash is to sell manufactured goods at shops, so I would say they are slightly more valuable than red rocks.
Now what would be interesting is if shops had a invulnerable warpate system connecting themselves (shops are...
In general you use lots of armor and primary weapons when specializing to kill ships bigger than you efficiently
You use shields (primarily the regen aspect) and turrets/missiles to kill ships smaller than you efficiently
Yes, internal bulkheads!
Now protecting from more than just missile...
I would call a weapon by what it is:
A cannon cannon is a machinegun
A cannon beam is a sniperrifle
A cannon missile is a shotgun
etc etc
I don't want to say "I got a tier 4 cannon system", cause it doesn't really convey... anything? could it mean it is tier 4 and thus weaker than the tier...
So currently you add it to your hotbar and click it to deposit energy into your ship.
It has a power capacity formula like power capacitors and generates power based on the number of blocks placed. Pretty simple.
So:
What if we added a 'tap' (like a tree tap) or an "infuser" blockset, that...
What do the tiers mean?
Is it number of computers linked?
If so does that really need a classification system?
EDIT:
After re-reading it a few times, I would have to say no, complexity does not define what "teir" a weapon is in.
its like a 30 degree cone extending out from the mount.
Surprised me when I was taking my drones into combat, decided I didn't need to deploy them, then the front of my ship lit up like a christmas tree when I got within beam range and they all let loose while still attached to their moors...
