Docked reactors are not an exploit, but a nessesity. I'm talking about Ion Armor, docked hulls, chaindrives, and clocked jump inhibitors. I would also argue that 'meta projectiles' are also not exploits. Oh doomcubes... If you take a star destroyer and remove the bridge then you have the ideal...

I am on board with missile missile acting as a mix between missile cannon and missile beam.

Problem is really how do you make swarmers a side grade and not just replace missile beam. 45 second reload vs 15 seconds and no targeting required.
