I've never seen that bug before, and have tried it out in-game repeatedly, with yet to crash. I think it might be something with your computer or client, as I have not had it happen so far.

*Denied* Interesting, but your backstory does not follow the timeline. Earth is an ancient planet that was almost completely destroyed almost 500 years before the current time on the server. Everything else is good, just redo that backstory. ;)
