And I'm back from the second night of drinking. BUT! I installed ten Auxiliary reactors (plug-in reactors that use big powersupply beams hooked up to logic) that produce an additional 50,000e/sec each (only 40 of each 200 e/sec actually makes it to the host vessel)
these have been installed on...
It may or may not be my birthday. (It is). I spent last night putting new point defense turrets onto the vessel, as well as mounting four long-range anti-shield lasers on the new fore. Also, took some time to template my hallways. Then I started drinking aaaaaaaannd..... yeah
Moved all the guns off the crew deck into four big guns that take up the entirety of the new fore. going to expand the superlaser to fire from the same port, as well. :D The biggest changes today came to the core - I finally got around to solving my little problem in that the core was in a...
So, not a lot happened today... and b
y not a lot I mean I spent the entire day adding retractable blast shutters to the windows on the crew deck - and will be implementing them soon everywhere!
It's still a LITTLE hinky, but I'm working on it.
As promised, here are some pictures of today's work:
I designed a newer, prettier flack turret today. Much better than the ugly-as-sin boxes I had previously. Also, now with 20% more flack!
Also, rebuilt the broadside guns, and started moving all weapons computers to the tactical...
Okay guys, today's update is going to be brief. Long story short, broke 5,000,000 blocks, most of it was doing interior detailing. I'll have pictures up in a bit.
Update #3: Added a forward miniature conn tower to the bow, started re-sculpting the business end of the superlaser, did some wedging in other areas o f the vessel:
Update #2: Drawing inspiration from Keptick's SuperTitan, which includes a fore superlaser, I went about starting to modify (After speaking to him, of course) and integrate his design for a superlaser into the new fore:
At the moment the superlaser does 3.5 MILLION points of damage...
Parts of the ship have been wedged, but some parts that are still ~in flux~ have not. All corridors get wedged before I move on to another part. Period. Also, I'm aware of the bit about the docking enhancers - I place them on the surface for ease of access.
Some of you may remember the name "Monolith" from a thread I started on the old site regarding this ship. Well, here I am a year and a half later, and I'm still building. That's right, folks. I've been building this ship for over a year and a half. And it's still not done. Oh no. I've been...
