      +50% doesn't have to be in the update, I'd just put it in the dev version to test how it works out and then adjust it further.

      This isn't possible when pasting from a file. It allows for freely moving and resizing the selection area. Selecting two corners isn't really better than the current system, we still would have to build lots of helper blocks for anything that isn't a cuboid.

      What do mean? Cannons do 10 DPS per block against both, shields and armor (before reduction), so do beams (unless armor HP = 0, but that's a bug).

      The problem with Japanese pilots was, that they often refused to use parachutes. As a consequence Japan lost almost all experienced pilots within a few years.

      I'm also for an across the board buff, big ships would still be sluggish as a granny with a rollator. I'm not sure whether a 15% increase would be that noticeable. I'd rather start with +50%, and if that's too much go down by 25%, and so on.

      I don't like this part, what if I need different reference blocks for different situations? Copy-pasting works great in MCEdit, why not just borrowing that mechanic?

      I'd say if players are informed beforehand, pretty much any time span the admin deems appropriate. In other cases I'd say one month with backup or three months without backup. This is for unanounced absence, of course.

      I'm not sure about this. I don't see any downsides besides the workload for Schine, but the offensive overdrive effect has a very similar effect. Making the maximum turn rate of a turret dependent on its size could encourage players to use more overdrive on turrets.

      If someone is inactive for more than x weeks without announcing a date of return, the admin should make a backup of that player's stuff and delete it from the game, at least if a galaxy is as cluttered as yours.

      Homebase invulnerability is necessary to avoid losing everything you have while offline. If players should be encouraged not to dock all their ships to the homebase, there must be other bases with a guaranteed invulnerability. I'd never dock an expensive ship to a station, if I couldn't be sure...

      That's a bug with rail turret axes, so mining turrets should work at some point. Don't hold your breath, though.
