I'm playing on the NDS build server, and everything has been running smoothly for weeks, but now if I try to place blocks in build mode I can only place a few dozen blocks before my computer crashes and turns off.
This is the same problem I've been having since the trade system update in...
I lost it as well, and I have not been able to find an option to enable it before loading in the universe, but the console command has been working to turn it on once I'm in the game proper ;)
Are there any plans to add a pregame option to turn it on? I don't mind having to use console...
Fair enough, part of building the ship I'm building was to see what I can get away with. I'll consolidate the AMS system from 40 down to 20ish and see what happens. I kind of wanted to switch over to a twin barrel design anyways, I'm not sure if it's true or not, but it seems like multi barrel...
I've been having a lot of stability issues with Starmade since the Trade system update. I suspect my biggest problem is lack of RAM, I'm running SM on 2GB out of the 8GB my computers has. Oddly enough letting SM have 4 GB makes things worse, I think windows objects to giving half the RAM to one...
Let me try this again, following instructions and sticking to the appropriate form
IGN - T-Shade
I would like to join the server to be in a community that will help me become a better ship architect and I want to jump in on Jontyfreak's 40k Titan Project.
My favorite cake is anything with...
lol, duh  . I was thinking it was some kind of client-server software put out by the IGN network, or some kind of Starmade global account thing I hadn't run across yet 'cause everyone knew about it.
does T-Shade work for an IGN? A little more futuristic and cyberpunky then my old...
Ok, my lack of playing anything online for the past 10 years is going to show here, but what is an IGN? I somehow missed that on the first post
*poke* I think my application post got missed, I posted right before Matt_Bradock's post about being blanket bannned. Sorry, I don't want to be a pain in the rear, but I would like a yay or nay on getting on the whitelist ;)
Application
I want to get on a build/creativity oriented server because I want to be part of a community that's going to help me become a better ship architect, and I want to get in on Jontyfreaks insane 40k titan project. I've been wanting to build a 40k ship in a building game since before I...
Low ROF high damage, high block removal weapons for attacking the station. I prefer nukes for station demolition purposes, Missiles + Damage Pulse + Explosive and a secondary swarmer battery for dealing with swarms of small ships. The Harvest of Fire is a small 22K mass missile destroyer that...
A week or two ago, I was working on a light cruiser shell in creative mode. I was spawning in and deleting my ballistics gel blueprint to test a few different weapon mixes. I was arrowing up to Destroy_Entity_Dock with the chat screen open, went too far and hit the...
I would call that ship a Corvette
My personal classification systems is as follows
Fighter/Bomber/Shuttle/Gunship/Small Craft Up to 5k Mass based on role
Corvettes 5-8K Mass
Frigates 8K to 15K Mass
Destroyers 15K to 25K Mass
Cruisers 25K up to 70K mass, being designated light or heavy...
Ah, if the file name and the imported name aren't synched up, that would explain why I'm having trouble finding bps after importing them. I've been manually naming most of the files I've been downloading off the dock as I'm having the same trouble as a lot of people with dock files getting a...
Sorry this took so long, it's been a crazy week. The dock won't let me upload the txt file directly to the post, too large. Do you have an email I could send it to as an attachment? Or a file hosting site you'd prefer I use?
I can see how you might assume that from my previous post, but the Winner Folders I referenced is one I added myself to my download folder.
I grabbed all the sment files individually from the Community Content accounts of the various people who submitted a design that looked interesting and...
Exactly, I just tested it again and had the same result, after browsing to the Starmade Contest Winners folder I have in my windows Download folder, I select the file, hit import and nada. It doesn't end up in the blueprint list in the utility tool.
I downloaded the sment files for all the contest winners, but when I load up the blueprint tool from the main menu the import button doesn't seem to work once I browse over to my download file. Is there a limit to the number of blueprints I can have saved?
Thanks in advance.
Is the Conversations option the appropriate avenue for some feedback?
Congrats to everyone who got in, and I'm not surprised I didn't make the cut. My ships were good, but they weren't spectacular, and I had already accepted that if I for chosen, it would be barely scraping the bottom level of...
