      I've had dropping FPS rates in general since the last update. The game runs fine for a while at 60 FPS (vsync enabled) but slowly slows down until I'm getting 1 - 2 FPS.       Interesting. That could make for some cool modular designs without relying on multiple entities docked together. I think the trick would be to allow construction of ships that don't have ship cores. The ship wouldn't be flyable and would need to be forged to a proper ship to become functional...

      What if there was some kind of "Faction Influence" block which would drain FP from enemies if in enemy territory, or create FP if in your own territory? Somewhat similar to the broadcast stations from Sins of a Solar Empire, but without the effect traveling to nearby systems.

      No, this was a brand-new station in a brand-new world. Just a tiny starter platform with a faction block, Undeathinator, a storage block, and a few factories. Are you testing on single-player or multiplayer? Could be a bug in the server I guess.

      What about your actual power? Can you set up a factory with a ton of enhancers to be a power drain, and monitor your power level? Should be pretty easy to eyeball the recharge rate and see if it matches the auxiliary rate.

      Yes, I noticed that, but to see what was happening I removed most of my standard reactors so I had about 1,000 e/s recharge via reactors and 10,000 e/s through auxiliary reactors. I watched my power pool and as it recharged after each factory tick, it only recharged at about 1,000 e/s. The...

      Do the new Power Auxiliary blocks work on stations? I placed a bunch on my new station but they didn't seem to affect my recharge rate.

      I don't think lock-in should be a concern until the game leaves beta. Right now I just plan for whatever I design to be broken by updates within a few months, and that doesn't really bother me. I'd hate to see progress held back for fear of breaking whatever glitchy/exploitative game mechanics...
