      What about the users that are currently being deterred by aggressive moderation? I for one am feeling like I need to walk on eggshells to post anything here and even then I don't know what slip of the keyboard might result in punishment. It feels too oppressive.

      In my view, damage pulse is pretty much completely useless as a close-range primary weapon - shotguns should be improved enough to take over that role, with a tighter cone of fire so they can still be somewhat effective at up to 500m or so and be able to hit properly.       Helm controls need to come with movable ship cores, or deprecate ship cores altogether. With the way 2.0 creates variable distance requirements, not being able to move the ship core to adjust for this has gone from a small annoyance to a very large one.

      The problem with multiple reactors isn't merely "one at a time" - we could kinda live with that to a degree - it's the switchover time which leaves us vulnerable and is a terrible idea in combat, and even out of combat it's a PITA to sit and wait.

      The danger of a star depends on its temperature and size. Small red stars will allow you to get quite close, while blues and especially giants have a much larger burn radius. If you want tekt, it's probably easier to claim a system with a cool star that has somewhat close asteroid belts.
