People are upset at this update? All I see is an innovative new mechanic that will pave the way for future additions to the game. Solving lag and giving people new things to consider when building at the same time in a way I couldn't even imagine myself. Bravo Schine & Council!

I don't see a problem with the shield drop requirement. As you can't teleport on to enemy ships during combat (unless they leave theirs on public...) this shouldn't even be arising as an issue. Outside of combat where do you need shields? This is just how I view it. Are you teleporting to...

Swarms in large arrays do wonders against smaller ships that can outmaneuver you. I really hate swarms personally, though, so I tend to use long range weapons like missile/beam. The farther away you are from something, the less you'll have to turn to keep it in front of you. That being said...

Correct it looks like it should be there, and correct it is not working. If it was working I suppose that would cover everything I personally would want.

Chat Timestamps. A really simple convenience that could go a long way. I personally will often go afk, come back, and have no idea when that person said "what's up guys?". Obviously not a priority! Just something that would make at least my starmade experience that much better.

A part of me really wishes there was just one really big stable server everyone played on. But on the other hand, I know there would be server rules and etc that not everyone would want to play with... As a ship builder primarily focused on combat, it feels very empty to make a ship as of late...
