      How would you integrate picking up a tube and moving it? It would just be much easier to integrate the tube into a ship/station. This of course adds risk. If the tube is destroyed while you are in it, you die and respawn at respawn point

      Well, what I did was backup before updating my version, however since the ship is still technically there you can save it a a blueprint and past it into an older version of starmade to which it is still compatible... Older versions here: http://files.star-made.org/build/

      Its not so much as they are just gone... they are still there, but only so many blocks are viewed from afar despite how big the view distance is. If you go closer to them, they show themselves.
