What computer do you have? What version are you downloading from the launcher (options and repair - > download normal)? Try re-downloading the launcher and see what happens... Is this the beta launcher? Can you play on local universes?

I had the same problem with a jumpgate station. Every once in a while it would teleport halfway across the sector and look squished. Reloading fixed it consistently.

I had this problem as well after connecting turrets via the place docked entity on rail function. Try spawning ships and building instead ie: build base -> build gun -> dock gun to base -> dock base to station. Someone should really look @ this tho
