Perhaps replace the stabilizers with radiators and thermal generators with different mechanics? Maybe the generators could be close to the reactor for more efficiency and the radiators, well, how can those work without being stabilizer 2.0?
I like these ideas but the crafting seems too basic. I can't think of much a solution to that either but maybe two or more ore types can be found in asteroids and plates and maybe when the player advances enough (does a tech advancement system sound like a good idea?) they can start crafting...
It's annoying when you dock your ship to your station but you find out your ship's reactor is larger than your station's reactor. I think there should be options to turn off power supply to certain docked entities or all of them. That could also help when your ship is damaged and can't supply...
It depends on how you build it. Currently you can redirect your beam through your ship. Also you don't need to stabilize your reactor for max output unless stabilization is below 25% (?). So if you have a very big reactor you may need a lot of blocks to hide your beam but a line of blocks is...
Some more ideas:
-Damage to the stream either damages the stabilizer group connected to it or drains a bit of energy
-The stream texture looks like energy flowing towards the reactor because the stabs are affecting the reactor
-The stream texture can be colored with light blocks connected to...
Why did you build four stations each in a sector? I thought you could build them close together without needing sector boundaries. If it's temporary you could just get rid of the chambers you're testing and place the next ones. It's not a lot of work.
