My favorite thing to do is to park my HQ on the side of a Blue Giant opposite of spawn just so I can watch idiots burn trying to fly to my base. :)

Blue Giants tend to have a 5 sector radius of death around them cutting off much of the system, by contrast the little stars tend to have a 1 to 2 sector burn range.

Homebases should be hidden in the faction menu to enemies and neutrals due to FOW until they are revealed. Might help solve part of the problem.

Removing the module seems to have killed the trading system for the NPC factions, why not just add a NPC Leader to the Faction to hold ownership or do what you did with the Trading Guild and make it faction owned where the faction name is used for the owner instead of a player. :)

Currently I've noticed if the station has no shop block on it you can't trade with it either. >_>

I'd say they might be added to the Trading Guild Faction's spawning selection, as for how their spawn pattern is going to work it's anyone's guess.

hmm also noticed that the game likes to kill over when you blow up one of their main stations. Especially if it's their HQ. :) Will send in logs later.

Too bad you guys are still using file directories for that instead of simple permissions in the catalog. :)

This is the reason I have a main weapon for aiming and the other weapons are docked barrels. :)

Turn down your settings as low as they'll go and make sure your computer has at least 2GB of RAM open for starmade, 4GB is best min but higher than that helps.
