Have thought about this a couple times before and would love to see something along these lines for a handful of reasons, will take the thread to the council; that said, have attempted to build a logic fired recoiling cannon on stream and it came out looking quite naughty.
This would be quite helpful as well as some general improvements and additions to the current build helper; which I'm sure have been posted about a few times before. I'm wondering if we can get a little more discussion going on in this thread in regard to what folks would like to see improved...
I'd be excited to see this without some forum of multiple wireless linking.
A 1:1 hand held logic remote would still make me ridiculously happy and might be easier to achieve than adding a GUI for a piece of equipment, though I have no idea from the development side.
Still love this idea so I dug it back out, hopefully bumping it will get a little discussion going on this topic and as things progress I'll see about throwing it at the council and seeing what the others think about it.
Given recent news I should add that this was posted before any of those elected knew the news and is solely me making good to my twitch viewers on bringing one of our on-going discussions there to the forums to see it further evolved by the greater StarMade community.

This is more or less where the idea started, for players to be able to create named thrust profile saves to easily switch between thrust configurations they like and then for that to potentially be able to be assigned to a class system for racing.
Thanks for mentioning this since I was not...
Well, the whole idea is that a class restriction in a race computer would limit vessels that could compete to specific standards; your comments though do bring up the notion that this system would need to check that "class" at each gate, the finish or throughout the race (depending on how it...
Negative, people have always built their own. In vanilla skid racing there is a standard established by Saber which entails 4.5 mass and 1 thruster, though this is up in the air (literally) since the thrust update. Likewise, in ship racing people have more or less traditionally established...
In skid racing, for example, the slightest percent of up & down thrust allows one to leave the track which fundamentally breaks the sport. I would agree though that variations of 'unlimited' racing classes allowing that freedom would be a key to this kind of system. That said, if one wanted to...
Since the thrust update my regular broadcasts have seen a great deal of discussion about the update, how people feel about it and how it has impacted the game.
From these discussions it would seem the one thing those who swing through twitch and are vocal would really like is the ability to...
