basically you can switch to other things anytime you want, the charge will then still be at where you left it. charging up before an ambush is a good idea, but as soon as you get actually hit, the charge is gone. so better make that decision to get out of there as quick as possible

hi, your stuff is never lost as you can pull out the server-database folder and put it into another installation, the same with the blueprint folder.
Unknown host is not really something that is caused by the game. it means that the host "star-made.org" could not be resolved into a valid IP...
oh and for everybody getting a socket address exception on the new launcher, i uploaded a fix to the same address. so if you downlaoded the new launcher, please replace it by redownloading from the same address you got it from
apparently there is something wrong with the cache update of the cloud. I manually purged it so the stuff should now show up at http://files.star-made.org/build/

since there seems to be some confusion about the capital ships: Basically normal ships will have certain amounts of points to be spent on capital ship systems. You consume those by placing capital ship systems, and they will gradually influence your ability to move.

Did you maybe install java 64 bit recently, since in the screenshot, you're running starmade 64bit. In the other screenshot it seems like you used the javaw.exe from a java installation in "program files (x86)", which means that this java version is 32bit and probably not used by the game.

a performace update is on the way. Formost it will make dynamic shadows by at least 50% faster. But also rendering at low settings should be faster. I'll implement a per vertex lighting (instead of per pixel) also which will improve fps for people with rendering problems by a lot (that wont come...
It's currently more an emergency method as in most battles, the ships were pretty much invincible since the ratio was only 10:1. I plan to expose the cap to the config to balance it better
you can press tab+o ingame to have the generated seperated in /StarMade/recipeGraphs
(also all graphs can be accessed ingame directly on the factories)
