There is absolutely nothing wrong with your system, except the GPU is a bit old (and was low end at the time). Jamster already suggested a few good choices.

I am pretty sure it's intentional that bigger ships are much less (maybe exponentially, like you said) common. New players already have a hard enough time fighting the stock Isanths. Imagine what would happen if pirates with more power than them were almost as common? (Hint: rage quitting...

Last I checked, the higher the value (or mass) of a ship, the less likely it is to spawn as a pirate. Therefore, the itty bitty stock Isanths are going to show up a lot more than the big ones.

It doesn't have quite the same ease of use as Fraps, but I use Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). It is the only capture software I have seen this far that can take full frame rate video without having a beast of a computer, and the files out of it tend to be a lot smaller than from other programs.

You've got this all wrong. We would actually prefer if you keep your politics in PMs. Furthermore, we don't care if your faction is diplomatic, a corrupt dictatorship, whatever. As long as you are not intentionally trying start a flamewar (in public or PMs), it is none of our business, and we...

Drama in this context means attempting to, and the aftermath of, trying to anger someone in another faction. War declarations are fine.
