In response to your message to @[134401:schema], stabilization distances have not been changed, I believe not even since the first pre-release. They currently increase at a pretty linear rate that relates pretty well to the number of reactor blocks in the active reactor group.

      v0.200.334 Bonus Stabilization Mechanics

I'm guessing you put the stabilizers on 45 degree angles from the reactor instead of 90 degree. To solve this problem you only need to rotate the reactor axis by 45 degrees, which should be an option in the ship stats panel on the left side of the build mode screen (unless it is in the advanced...

      HowTo make an RP Demon-Faction?

That sounds like a reference to the anime, King's Game (Ousama Game to some people).

What exactly are the penalities of low stabilization?

Coming right up: StarMade News - StarMade v0.200.311 - Power 2.0 Most of the information is under Power <==> Stabilizer in the Power Basics section. There also seems to be no mention of explosions in this, so I guess I got that part wrong.

      HowTo make an RP Demon-Faction?

Is this intended to be a random joke or some sort of satire? Either way, I'm not laughing.

Tekt Astirodes are to close to the sun???

To my knowledge, asteroid locations are randomly determined and each type can occur anywhere in the universe, so it may just be bad luck on your end. Of course, I could be misinformed.

What exactly are the penalities of low stabilization?

Not true. Anything less than 100% stabilization increases the amount of damage you take from weapons (up to a limit). There is also the part about explosions at really low stabilization, but I don't know what point. Of course, you are right about the power penalty (although the default, I...

      v0.200.334 Bonus Stabilization Mechanics

The bonus system pretty much works like this: Assume stabilizer groups are present in 4 dimensions. The stabilizer groups contribute 5%, 5%, 2.5% and 1% of the required stability for max stability, respectively. The group with the maximum stability contributes 5% stability, or 500...

      What is Wrong with Starmade

It is as functional as the cube. The problem is you need a buffer of integrity or your systems will start exploding when they take damage. It is for this reason that a lot of us feel more forgiving integrity values are in order (because the best we can do right now is keep integrity positive).

      Salvage Turret Control

I personally have no idea, but I do know that turrets functioning off of Bobby AI are unable to target non-hostile anything. They are pretty much used to shoot down enemies, whether they be astronauts, ships, or missiles. I have yet to see a setting that lets them lock on to asteroids; of...

My Thoughts on the New SM

Did you fill out a bug report for any of those things yet? If not, that's probably why they haven't been fixed. ADDITION: as for being released early, I heard that it was only released early because the community kept pushing for a release after the projected release date was missed. The devs...

      What is Wrong with Starmade

I'm sorry, but who was it that said the community was willing to wait a year for the update to come out? And Schine is, in fact, reinventing weapons with the introduction of damage types and armor types. Weapons will no longer be universally effective against everything. Additionally, the...

      What is Wrong with Starmade

I don't quite understand what you're trying to say here. The new values I mentioned are regarding integrity, which doesn't really need to be based off anything else. We don't have any previously seen integrity values because the current ones are the only ones we've ever had. You can look at...

My Thoughts on the New SM

Who, me? 50/50. I actually have yet to really complete any ships yet, but a couple I have been working on lately are more than half a kilometer long (one is already more than a kilometer). They're both very very early in the building stages though, as I'm more of a logic person than a...

      What is Wrong with Starmade

I don't know if you realize this, but you don't have to update your game to the latest version, and it is possible to revert your game to earlier builds.

Is there a way to avoid all sun danmage to mine.

That I haven't tested yet (and actually forgot was added). I doubt it's complete sun damage elimination, but it could be.

My Thoughts on the New SM

Just do what I do/attempt to do (terribly), build giant ship shells and fill them with interiors. Don't forget to leave room for systems, though.

Is there a way to avoid all sun danmage to mine.

Best solution: find another asteroid to mine. Unfortunately, you can't really get around sun damage. I wish it were possible, but it isn't. This was one of the first things I learned after I started playing, and it SUCKED. It really is a pain for something you want so much to be JUUUUST...

      What is Wrong with Starmade

But would you really have wanted to wait a year, year and a half for just one update? Most people would get tired of waiting by then.

      What is Wrong with Starmade

Integrity is a WIP. The values are not set in stone. However, this: I somewhat agree with. I understand that nobody wants an indefinitely recharging shield, but I think there should be some level of recharge while the shields are taking damage. However, the devs made an interesting argument...
