I dont think every government is so stupid or corrupt. But I found that more often than not people are stupid and not evil.

But they still have to follow the law. Same with an taxi company from the US that wanted to start here in germany. They did not follow the law so they were shut down. These companies may have no competition in the US but in other countries this is not the case.

small update I am quite satisfied with this ship so far :D sadly the jump drive is not big enough anymore -.-. I put quite big ones in and thought I could scale them down at the end to fit the optimal mass. Now I have to put in more. The tripple turrets are a beam-cannon and a cannon-beam...

Interesting idea. Why not make it a new block type, one that uses extrem amounts of energy. Maybe the range could be regulated through the amount of blocks. And make it available for ships. Specialyced commend ships :)
