also one thing i found out a while ago, if you make your marauder suits the right way you can place docking modules really close to each other to save space. This is invaluable on smaller dropships to be able to hold more capsules.

billions of years for light to travel that distance, even with ftl we are still looking at something way too massive to implement

the biggest problem i have with this, even downscaled, is that the distance between galaxies is even more massive. it would take weeks of puddle-jump warping across empty space to get to a new galaxy. I say we keep it at one large galaxy the generates as you go through it.

how about, to expand on this, we create an entire new game/universe mode. Story mode, where the universe will generate a vibrant and living space with tons of npcs, more pirates, questlines, crews etc. but still leave it open enough so many people could RP it.
