The base game of StarMade should stay silent. If you want music, find some nice soundtracks and put them on in the background before you start playing.
Or make someone slave away making a mod.
To resolve this, what do you think about resources on a planet replenishing over time? It'd also create more of a reason to leave a base on a planet for autonomous resource collection.
This way, people wouldn't have to keep making trips with their ships to harvest resources from a flourishing...

You don't seem to understand the context of what I wrote, so I'll rephrase it.
It is a highly requested feature, and considering the way StarMade works, it would be fitting for this feature to be implemented.
I don't think any further effort should be put into the aesthetics of the weapons because we should be allowed to build our own weapons. The idea has been around long enough and I'd like to see it at least declared as a planned implementation.
Planets should have large pockets full of resources, and mining stations should be set up to be run by AI or NPC characters so that the resources can be collected autonomously, thus making setting up bases on planets and taking territory more valuable.
You don't need a key for all of these functions if you program the game to make certain keys perform certain actions based on the circumstances.
Crawling could be a step below crouching, and to activate it you could just press a certain key combination with the crouch key or cycle through...
that's exactly what the OP is saying: he likes dodecahedrons but wishes they were smoother around the edges.

lol, you didn't even read what OP was talking about. He wants the corners of the plates on dodecahedron planets to be generated smoother, like the edges of the old cookie planets.
