      The thing is, unless you want to prohibit underground bases, you'll need to cut out the oceans around the continents. Otherwise all the rooms will be flooded.

      I noticed it has a good overall shape. The problem is the shape isn't reinforced by anything. It's blobby. Try running lines down the length of the hull to improve it, I guess.

      That means that there's 25 circuit and 25 mesh in each advanced armor. In balancing with the 20 or 50 crystal per crystal block, I'd say that the extra levels shouldn't have any more crystal in them. The idea about the capsule refinery though - I like it.

      The thing is that metal mesh is barely used in the factories at all, while ores and crystal are used for everything. It would make far more sense to just use mesh for hulls.

      The current procedual backgrounds look more like picture 1 than 2. Anyway, the second point indicates one of the things that should get changed - right now loot drops as icons. Instead it should drop as a debris cloud, which behaves like a small nebula.

      Hmm... The image in the OP shows a polygonal ocean surface. Maybe have a heightmap for each face that simulates the water rather than actually having "blocks" of it? Though of course what happens if you wind up with multiple surfaces of water? Like: ~~~~~~~~| ~~~~~~~~| ~~~~~~~~|||| ~~~~~~~~|...

      BURN THE GLOW!!! Though I'd honestly say add the emmisves to at least parts of the textures (Like the glowing circle around the shield capacitor, or the bars in the reactor, or the hexagons in the shield generator.)

      There are a few technical considerations, but the biggest problem with that is that we have build mode and can just fly the camera into the structure.
