Am I the only one who has noticed that there are some resource name changes?

    Nacht - Macet
    Hital - Hylat
    Parstun - Sapsun

and Parsen seems to have been miss typed as Parseen in some locations.

The asteroid descriptions in the nav window are still the old names though

Yeah I was wondering the reason behind these changes as well. In the long run the name makes no difference it would just be interesting to know the reasoning.

Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away...

There lived a little boy whose name must not be spoken aloud. For the purposes of this story, we'll call him Bill. Bill was a very bad boy. He liked to pull girls' hair, put frogs in the drinking fountain, and even *gasp* pull the Do Not Remove tags off of mattresses in the store.

One day, Bill pulled a girl's hair. That girl turned around and punched him in the nose making Bill cry. This has nothing to do with why resource names were changed in StarMade, but it is an interesting tidbit about Bill nonetheless.

One of Bill's favorite things to do was spit loogies. And when he was getting ready to spit, he'd really exaggerate the whole sound of sucking snot out of his nose to spit. He'd loudly inhale and call out, "naaaaccccchhhhhtttt" and then let loose with a green and yellow slimeball.

Well, I'm sure by now the more astute have noticed that nacht and sound of Billy hocking a loogie are pretty much the same. I mean, why do you think it was found in the green and yellow asteroids? Apparently, though, Billy spit one of his infamous loogies in schema's coffee, and as punishment, schema changed the name.

    True story.

This name change seems rather pointless to me. Calbiri, do you know why this was done?

There was mention of confusion in the similarities of some names, I felt it would do no harm to alter the names slightly (or as little as possible) to have a more distinct pronounciation (less chance of them being verbally similar) and written forms. The names on the asteroid descriptions were missed, anywhere else that they have not changed is also an oversight, I would appreciate if you could make bug reports pointing to any of those. Thanks

Dumb question I know - what is the official way to make a bug report? Do I use the crash reporter in the Starmade directory?

Hmm, I was wondering about those, but I already assumed it probably was for minimizing confusion in the used names. ;)

I'll make a note when I see that Parseen one again, I believe it was the shards itself, but I'm not absolutely sure...
