    _______________
Hi. I noticed a very interesting thing.
When I had a GTS 450 video card, I had 60-80 frames in the game.
With the forced transition to AMD 7770, which is more powerful than the GTS, fps fell to 20-25... What's the matter?
    StarMade can't in AMD?
[doublepost=1546253684,1546253496][/doublepost]P.S. Also, on the card AMD noticed such a bug.
    Bloom on/off.

As far as I know amd cards tend to underperform in starmade/java games in general. Had a similar problem with an r9 280x.

i really doubt the 60-80FPs (on anything other than empty space) with a 10 Year old CPU and 2 Generations outdated memory.

The GTS 450 is slower than the HD 7770 thats probably a thing, but the difference between those 2 isnt big enough to explain that drop in performance.
is the Memory on the AMD card smaller than on the Nvidia maybe ?
the visual problem is as far as i know indeed a AMD specific problem. You have to enable Frame Buffers to get that working right.
(Bloom requires Frame Buffers too so they get enabled when you turn Bloom on, but you can toggle them individually. And .. the game should enable FrameBuffers for AMD by default. No idea why that hasnt worked for you)
Frame Buffers do need more GPU Memory and might cause the performance drop that way.

aceface you cant really compare the R9 280X to an HD7770 ... and i never could reproduce your performance problems with my own R9 280X ... maybe you really hadnt had luck with your card ??

    hey you remember :D
very possible, the point is that they're both AMD from similar era (280x is a 7970 refreshed) Also I was not the only one, this guy had exactly the same issue I had:

I live in Russia, and we have such a generation is still quite important. The fact is that when you replace the graphics card with a more powerful, FPS should increase in any case, and not fall four times.

and you did only replace the GPU ( assuming drivers got replaced properly) ?
make sure the GPU Specifications are properly those of an HD7770, maybe by using a program like GPUZ
    TechPowerUp GPU-Z
especially the memory size of the GPU .. i hope it isnt smaller than the one of the NV card
(otherwise it may try to use the very slow DDR2 ram to buffer stuff ?)

i agree .. replacing the GPU with a more powerful one shouldnt drop that far even if it is an AMD/Nvidia Design problem.
Maybe reset the Games settings by removing (Copying them away and then deleting or renaming) the settings.cfg to see if that makes a difference if the game starts with default values.
about old PCs .. i do use quite a lot of them myself .. but i am quite lucky to not have a gaming setup that old. I wouldnt be able to buy the fastest PC stuff myself, so i do understand that part.

What's the difference with other games? What OS?

Is it possible that it's now defaulting to not using your GPU? Do those processors have integrated graphics (probably not)? might be useful.

In order not to write huge pages with the characteristics, I suggest to get acquainted with the comparison of these two graphics cards in English.
Radeon HD 7770 vs GeForce GTS 450

The driver I put also completely removing the old, including entries from the registry... And, say, WarThunder on ultra settings, but when setting textures to "medium" I had 30 frames.
While in StarMade, even on a perfectly low, low resolution screen, I can't get out more of the same 25 frames.

I understand, perfectly, that I have weak iron, on European standards, but for this game its should lack the...

I also edited the config.cfg, and I managed to get only a couple of frames by changing a bunch of lines...

So, was someone interested in GPU-z?

so from the GPU-z values it does look as expected.
(at least it does identify it as the expected Card so i guess that is fine then)

so .. ok sorry i am out of ideas here. it should run at least as good as it did with the NV Card if you just judge it on the specifications of the two cards.
you could try an older build of starmade to see if there is a performance jump from one version to another.
(that would indicate Schema did change something that did only impact AMD in some way and wasnt identified in Testing because maybe nobody did use an older AMD Card in testing)
