I really like that second ship! The overall body lines looks like something the UNSC out of Halo might build.

as for what i had planned was a bc about 500 long four main cannons in the front afew big turrets maybe of my tri gun design

Regarding the builders block: When I don't like to build further, I often just begin a new project. For projects that take too long I often reevaluate why I don't like to detail or build it further. The next project then often incorportates a solution to this problem. Often enough it was because I just started too big and got tired of detailing for example a 50m long turret.

I get tired of building a 5km ship.

Copy paste works wonders for builders block.

I don't get builders' block because I don't build anything for three months and then shit out a titan in the span of three days

Overkill is the best kill when you don't know what situation you're flying into.

New frigate I'm using to try out power 2.0. I keep getting false starts, as I learn more and more about it.

This will be the MK-C since it'sthe 3rd prototype I've made from scratch.

I've put the reactors in front of the stabilizers, since if I lose reactor blocks, my e/sec merely goes down. If I lose stabilizers, my e/sec goes down, and my reactor potentially blows itself up from the strain.

Sorry for this bit of a necro, but I needed somewhere to show this off, and this thread deserves life!!!



Currently dubbed the "Experimental Personal Transport", or XPT, this small unarmed ship consists of a sphere containing the cockpit and thrusters and a surrounding piece that rotates from a horizontal to vertical position when shifting from landing to flight mode. Currently a prototype, as the name implies, it lacks jump drives, and the mode changing and ramp lowering functions are linked, whereas I'd like to separate these controls in the future.
