NM: looked into the law further, and it only effects platforms with 2 million plus users. Even still, that is the political climate in Germany right now, it would be very dangerous to leave any offensive content on here if this game ever does take off.

However, you are perfectly right that it is 100% subjective. That's what makes it such a terrible and exploitable law. My understanding is that simply if someone, anyone, complains about content being offensive, Germans have 24hrs to take it down under NetzDG compliance laws. This is super dumb IMO because bots could be made to suppress any kind of information or even perform sabotage to social media networks by flooding them with millions of false reports. If you want to bankrupt Facebook, just flood their complaint system with auto generated false reports and then turn them over for all the posts that stay up for more than 24hr... let the lawsuits do the rest.

Edit: how do I change the size of images in posts I make?
I think the size is perfect :D

This comment assumes that Schema is an American or that Schine is an American business with the backing of the US constitution. However, he is German running a German business and is thus bound by NetzDG regulations
The idiotic NetzDG specifically is designed to effect non-German businesses as well, as it's main focus was facebook and twitter. Therefor Schema being German and Schine being a German company has no actual impact on said law applying.

Unlike the NetzDG (Netzwerkdurchsetzungsgesetz = Network enforcement law) the laws (of debatable quality) it is supposed enforce technically would apply (The actual hatespeech laws).

However, I don't think this is the correct place to discuss stupid German laws.

Has it really gotten so bad that the Rp players and PvP players are actually (kinda) agreeing on something?

The mods are like the KGB, with Alterstalin leading the purge. And that's perfectly ok for me to say, as I didn't say anything about the german secret police. (Isn't it weird how you can talk about the KGB but not the _______?)

Inb4 I get warning points for talking about politics.
Could I get away with rehashing my 'Starsi' joke?

Also why is the meme ship removed from CC? Was it cause it highlighted the disgusting amount of unbalance?
We're talking about the minefield which's reviews have resulted in warnings and other, more severe consequences for users, right?
If so, maybe it was because somebody with very little sense of humour thought the name "one stop shop for making people quit the game" was somehow offensive. This reason would at least fit with that minefield causing rather questionable moderative action.

Just so you know why I ask: Potential other meme ships by deb could be the fair and ballanced or the cockhopper, although the latter hardly highlighted any inbalances (the only thing it highlighted was how much of an assault on the eyes a bunch of bored people could create)

edit: I changed my mind, and don't want to voice my opinion anymore. I just want to say: Can this forum drama be stopped, please?

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure once real mines are introduced, debi will have an even more trolly version to replace that thing posted before the weapons update even leaves dev build.

I wonder who'll post it or other meme ships he theoretically could build in the future since debi sadly is banned (I don't doubt that he'll find someone).

Last night, my wife walked in on me sitting at my computer quietly in in the dark. I clearly did not have any videogames playing, but she noticed I had like 20 tabs open in the browser. She saw this and asked what I was doing. I responded "looking at space ships". She assumed this was code for watching porn, so she started toggling through tabs to try to "catch me", after going through 4-5 images of various space ships, she found this one:

at which point she laughed so hard she walked out of the room and said, "wow... that is so nerdy, next time you should keep a tab of porn open to cover your tracks."

BTW - Still could not find the actual size of the Imperium Phalanx... so I guess we were both disappointed.

I think the starmade variant of this started by Jake is one of the few things that could come across as even more nerdy.

Aside from the fact i find that chart awful, along with the fact it cites fuck all, i'll help

"Phalanx is gigantic, the size of a small moon and is said to shine like a star. " - Index Astartes II: Imperial Fists, p. 12

Still not even remotely close to largest thing in 40k.

Yes... I kept reading that description in several places, but never got a gauge of what that means since that could be a HUGE variance. Based on other factors like the capacity of it's flight decks compared to what depictions I found on it, I think I narrowed it down to ~100-200km in diameter, but mostly I was just curious if it was bigger than a death star, so that is still a bit inconclusive.
