The server you were on probably had modified configs, stealth bombers with any sort of meaningful weapon system had to have next to no hull blocks with the old power system.
Just adding to the list of cool EVE hulls available for SM. I haven't been on that server, but I had the Prophecy underway on Shattered Skies, and it definitely has enough space for just about anything I could think of at that time. I stopped working on it because SS got reset and had to focus on rebuilding a base for us. A couple of months later, SS went belly up and we had to relocate again.

Still have the BP's if someone's interested...

    Not nessicarily true.

I attempted to make a design waaay back in the day, failed but then I got some help from Aceface (because I was a total noob with sytems at the time) and it was figured out that Stealth can be achieved with simply radarjamming without the need for a cloak.

Just whack a basic structure down, fill it with alpha damage shit (missiles) and do some good old hit an run from the cover of radarjamming, I do believe CR adopted the design with the "Purifier" and the "Nemesis" then Vaygr decided to make their own after seeing how effective the CR bombers were.

I remember flying a Vaygr stealth bomber waaaaaaaaay back before the usage become a "known" tactic, people were not prepared and didnt know how to counter it and thus a 15k mass radarjamming boat with missiles that would seem to be way to large for their class were butchering block-capped titans on GenXNova.

Then its usage started to become known and "docked shield reactors" were becoming more widespread, people started to learn how to counter it by spamming fucktonnes of docked shield shit and the effective use of it dropped drasticly. Allegedly a big factor in this becoming known was OAS (specficly Dread Syndicate) obtaining a blueprint via an exploit with contact docking (according to former OAS faction leader, LordSidonus)

Vaygr used the "Cyclops" (The Vaygr ripoff of the CR Nemesis and Purifier) all the way up until the day I decided to rat them out for some shit that has nothing to do with this thread and then they faded away into decline and unimportence.

So yeh, a stealth bomber buils is possible with hull, CR and then Vaygr did it to great effect. Perhaps this "story" I just told was not relevent to the thread but I didn't want to have someone read this and assume its true which causes a spread of misinformation. (Not trying to imply this was your intent btw)

Well, stealth on our Puri only went as far as jammer, and yea it had only basic hull and minimal shielding, everything was min-maxed to put the biggest f***ing missiles we could on that one. It filled a similar role tho; warp in, look for targets of opportunity, blast them, GTFO.

Well warp is some kind of good defense.
The only counter is to have weird stuff like warping ships that use jump interdiction with tons of modules(more modules than the target have warp modules).

Just out of curiosity, what happens when you shoot the turrets? They seem pretty exposed, and are bulky enough that shots would hit. Wouldn't kill the ship but at least it'd disable it.

Might be wrong though, I haven't played the game in a while...

The same thing that happens when you shoot turrets on other ships - they blow up. Unless the creator moved all his weapons into turrets there still should be some guns on the main body.

Not all spaghetti ships use turrets, but if you wanted to avoid that you would spaghetti your turrets as well.
