I just rewatched the new and the old trailer, and I must say that the older one is much better, and I will tell you why:
1. Music - the older trailer had this epic music, that pumped you with energy and taste to try out the game. The new one... It's just meh
2. Video itself - the older one had those little text cards popping out with sounds. It is just a small detail, but it looked really cool. The new one has only a black screen with a text. Again: Meh.
3. Ships - The older one had actual videos of ships, but the new one only rotates extremly fast around them, so you can't see any detail.
4. The nostalgia - This may be just a personal issue, but I think the old one has a much better impact than the new one. Mainly because you can see the old stations and Isanth, as well as the old texture pack. It feels really nostalgic !
