What do you listen to while playing StarMade?

Depends on my mood. Generally, I have sound turned off with only the wirrr of the computer in the background.
I kinda like a lot of different genre's. Probably not helpful.
Recently I've been listening to a lot of mashups and free metal from YouTube.

I listen to the GalactiCraft OST the whole time (sans the scary_ambience track). The slow-paced synths really agree well with the atmosphere (or lack thereof ) of StarMade. Then again, why shouldn't it? They're both about outer space.

Since Starmade lacks any type of sound whatsoever, I don't even turn off my sound. I keep the speakers turned on in the hope that Starmade will suddenly come back to life and begin playing sounds again.
I pop up YouTube on my phone and start watching whatever is recommended. I typically avoid high action videos that distract my focus and listen to documentaries passively while I play.

I often have custom sound tracks queued up when I play. Each song in the playlist will have a similar tone but is noticeably different depending on what's going on in my game. Here's an example of one of my favorite lists.

Mining or moving a convoy
Pirates attack
Building a warship
Back at the base
Mobilizing a large force
Battleship duel/Large fleet engagement

I don't need to listen to music while I play StarMade. It has sound already, but for the sake of the discussion, I like dubstep music like Blackmill and Lindsey Stirling.

I listen to orchestral soundtracks from movies and games, or to Radio Los Santos and Twenty One Pilots.

Piano and violin concertos when playing normally.

Keane - A Bad Dream on repeat if I'm doing testing.

When working on my "Outland" ships:

Dope

Otherwise, it's Zz Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and pretty much that's it lol.

Sometimes bagpipes, if I'm feeling particularly Scottish that day.
