    That was directed to kupu, Lecic, please elaborate on why you disagree. :p
    I had just previously explained how 'Simple' or 'easy' doesn't equate to high priority. Nor does it give the request a free pass to be put into the game. I am yet to see "bubble shields" on the internal roadmap or even requested features within Schine.

    I wasn't referencing it being done with haste, I'm referencing the fact that we've heard a couple of times that it's too difficult/not possible to have bubble shields. Take as long as ye need, couldn't care about that, but we've been told it can't be done. :p

    It was in early SM versions iirc. But regardless

    I'm really excited with new SM shaders.
    Do u plan to make planets look less strange?

    Stars are now too visible so u can see odd grid effect while looking at galaxy from big distance.
    It used to look pretty cool before.
    I'd suggest to make them less visible over distance, or to add some cloud effects in galaxies.

    Cloud effects would be good, but Schema would have to go in and add that, not Kupu; he would just make the textures :P

    Strange. I wasn't under the impression that those stars needed altering tbh. The ones that Noticeably twinkled for me were the ones in the BG.

    Have some kind of combat transporter mechanic that goes through shields but has a lockon time, takes power, etc. Or have some fancy way of getting through shields for boarding that requires a fleet keeping the ship itself busy.

    To the others, i've cleaned up some of the bubble talk as it got way a bit off topic, but it seems like you concluded your discussion anyway. If you want to carry on, please make use of the threads psteiner referenced.

    Thanks for all the images showing small problems. This is exactly why i put out a test pack. Great feedback so far.

    Byamarro I see the issue. I had not checked the stars so far out in void space. Good idea. I'll go to a similar sector and see if there is a better value. :)

    So far this is the only bug that's really bothered.



    With block preview turned on, and bloom turned on when you move over an area infront of an entity the bloom effect comes through. I have yet to test if this happens with out your texture pack though kupu.

    Its kinda neat though... But obnoxious when you are trying to build.

    This is an existing issue, probably exacerbated by my test changes. Things like thruster plumes, selection boxes and build preview seem to confuse the z-buffer allowing backgrounds and blooms to pour through.

    That's because they're just visualizations. You won't see them outside of build mode. They look fine to me, for that purpose.

    Yea, exactly this.

    New rail blocks are visualizations. The same will be implemented for Area Triggers and Cargo Space too. They will all follow the same format, something completely different to existing blocks. Utilitarian, colourful, with a simple symbol to to make it very clear these are not objects within the world, but areas of function.
