My Slabs Experiments

I haven't used slabs much, so I thought I'd have a play around and see what I can do. There's a lot of bugs with collisions and things like sitting alignment, but it's still fun to play with. Hopefully these things will be fixed in the next update to make my deck designs workable.

I made a couple videos that run through and demo the stuff. I've also decided to try building a ship using some of these to see how well it will work. So far it seems to be ok.

Yeah, I was surprised how well the hallways turned out. That's why I decided to play with a turbo lift and bridge.

I'm curious to see how they implement slab wedges. There are so many combinations and if they apply the same technique as cubes, it's not going to look pretty from a texture standpoint. The cubes already don't look right texture wise. You can see it on my doors.

But still, they're interesting to play with. I only wish there were light wedges and slabs.

Interesting design! Are you looking to smooth out the angle to give it a sleek wide wing look? Will look nice.

I want slab wedges for the angled side, so I can have more room to move around in my small cockpits.
