Done With This Game

After countless hours playing, I have had enough with this game.

I am the type of person who likes to get to end game whereever possible, today, I was flying to the shop to get some stuff and I had all of my items and everything with me. I got out of my ship by accicdent and when I try to get back in I am told there is someone in there. Then helplessly, I watch as the user named ridgedog (not yogscast one) tears my ship apart. I couldnt do anything and had to watch helplessly as he sold all my items to the shop and commented, "haha, 437,000,000 credits loser"

Unless there is a way added to this game to stop this happening, I am not going to be a part of it, and its a shame because I thought the game was so good, I am defenatly not recomending to any of my friends and if anything I will tell them not to bother playing it.

Save your ships to the catalog. Problem solved.

Quitting the game because you lost or got defeated in-game is a ridiculous reason. But it\'s your choice. Feel free to come back; You\'re always welcome to give it another try.

Things happen like that to everyone. If you\'re going to trash a game because of it, that\'s just absolute failure. It was your own mistake, the game shouldn\'t have to do anything to make you happy. You accidentally got out, ooooh big deal, and then you try and threaten the game developers \"I WILL TELL THEM NOT TO BOTHER PLAYING IT BECAUSE I FELL OUTTA MY SHIP AND IT GOT STOLEN\" Lol? Nice.

When something like that happens I usually ragequit, but get over it after a while. And play again. Never trust your emotions.

Okay, so please bear in mind this is an alpha build of the game. Nowhere near finished, and I believe schema is working on a fix for this specifically.

1) Did you have a Faction Core? Those should stop people taking parts of your ship unless they\'re part of your faction.

2) Latest update added whitelist servers. As soon as these are working properly you should be able to find a server with nobody who will do this allowed on

Bro, start a faction and put a faction module on your ship. Then people can\'t steal it.

You should definitely have a faction module on any expensive ship. Sorry this happened to you, but the game is in alpha. Even with a system in place for helping safeguard your items you should expect that you can lose anything and everything at any time.

In addition to securing ships with a faction core I\'d recommend saving the blueprints for any ship you\'re fond of so it can be easily replaced with a little mining/salvaging.

Check back in beta/release. This game (is and) will be awesome.

I have to agree - while some options, security etc is important to have, in this particular situation a player is the source of grief, not the game.

Trying your hand at some sort of ultimatum is both silly (because it\'s not the dev fault you got yourself screwed over and because you threaten to leave the game since just some player whom you can avoid was a dick, not to mention giving impression as if you\'re really vital for the game or the community to exist) and possibly insulting.

Calm down, make a decent suggestion as to how - and to what degree - the problem should be worked upon and then it\'ll be somewhat constructive, at least.

You don\'t hate the game, it seems. It seems to me, you hate human nature. What are you gonna do, play some other game where the community\'s equally dickish? Have fun IRL in a while where people are still often equally dickish?

If you like to get to end game all the time then you shouldn\'t look at this like defeat, if anything its a challenge, if your ship was able to be stolen as such then you clearly weren\'t at end game as such you should endeavor to make this impossible.

Same thing happened to me dude. get over it. There is a way to protect your ship with faction modules. Don\'t bag schema for a griefer taking your ship.

Well you should know what is what before you go into multiplayer, especially in an alpha game made by two people. Your own fault.
