Stargate X-303 Prometheus

Just thought I would say hello to everyone and show you all my build I'm working on at the moment. Only started playing the game less than a week ago, so also looking for a server that will be willing to host me multiplayer

This is the build so far, mainly just the outter shell, and even that isn't finished yet, interiod and a substantial amount of detailing still to do, and of cause...shields weapons and power. Deadline around 2 weeks. Let me know what you think.

Basing it off a bit of everything I guess, just what ever clips or screen shots I can find online. Hoping to do all the tiny details as well so a lot of work yet. Thought I would just give everyone something to wet there apitites.

Been doing some work on the interior and more specifically, the core of the ship. I wanted to have something practical but also looks like a ships core and this is what I came up with.

I build a large cube frame of power blocks and filled in the sides bottom and back with shields in all of the empty spaces



I staggered the front with shields and lights but didn\'t fill in the empty spaces to make the front smooth like the other sides, i then boxed in the room and added a partern of lights around it. I thre went on to adding a retractable bridge.

Was thinking of making a puddle jumper today actually, but it will be very hard to get that level of detail and have it still go in the ships dock, have a space to walk, while having weapons, shields and cloaks. Having problems working out the back of the prometheus now though. There doesn\'t seem to be any clear images from the back and round the engines.

Made a Puddle Jumper,not enough power for cloak though unfortunatly. Ship under 100mass.

What I\'ve done so far with detailing on x303, still a long way to go and a few bits i might still change.

I\'m not sure when this will be finished, it looks more complete than it is due to the angle of the shot but the underside and the back including the very complex engine shapes are still to be completed and interior still needs a lot of work. Interiors aren\'t my speciality so any ideas on how to lay it out would be greatfully apresiated.

As for release I\'m unsure yet if/when/ how I will release it i intend on making a fleet of ships to this standard or better from stargate all around this very large scale. Possibly considering joining or starting a faction that will use my fleet, or releasing my old ship as it becomes inferior to my new.

My next build will be either the Daedalus or Aurora however but im not sure which to start on first. After building the 3 ships I intend to start on my mega project....Atlantis in the same scale as my ships. Atlantis will also have a means of docking the ships to the city. This project is a long way off yet however...

This is what ive found online and my Prometheus is 336 long so I didn\'t make a bad guess at 1:1 when i first made it, this length will incrase slightlu with engines.
