Unfortunately the information is incorrect. A sector is 1300m3 (1.3km3), NOT 2000m3 (2km3).

Isn\'t a sector 2.6Km^3? And well, I do have to say this is an old thread, maybe it was different then.

how many blocks does it take to fill a sector anyway? does a planets width and diameter fill a sector or is it bigger? thi needs to be asnwered soon

Like, if looking at my 100 block long scout ship, I\'d probably guess it\'s length to be 50 meters.

If I build a 4x4x3 room, it looks like I\'m in a tiny closet.

This is so useful for what I\'m doing right now. Didn\'t really realise planets were that small, they seem bigger when you\'re hiding on one to avoid a loony with a bajillion missiles from getting you as easily.

Some of them are insanely big for the game regarding your work (The V\'Ger : more than 2 sectors long (!)).

And one ID4 saucer is large like 50 planets ...

That would still leave the default 50km/h at a measly fifth of the speed of light, and planets are still WAY too small. Then again, sublight engines reaching a maximum .2 C is reasonable, if they add some form of hyperdrive.

What is the difference between the suns of Apha Centauri?

the diference between our sun and alpha centauri is that alpha centauri is 2 stars and not 1. i hope this helped you

Alpha centauri is 3: Alpha Centauri A and B and Proxima Centauri (Which is the closest star)
