Hey there guys!
So, I've had a nasty problem loading in anything besides my immediate surroundings for a long while now. I have the steam version of the game, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've Tab-F6'ed, I've cleared the cache, I've set my view distance up, I've set my view distance down, I've messed with the memory settings, I even found a suggested fix of deleting your settings file, entering and exiting the game to create a new one, then going into it and setting G_USE_VBO_MAP= false
The results are alllllll the same. I can't see anything until I literally run into it.
Specs and settings:
-Chunk view distance set to 10000
-64-bit operating system, windows 7
-9G DDR3 RAM
-Intel core i7 950 at 3.07 GHz
-Nvidea GTX 580 1.5G
Example of problem (Note: The other green targets are around 200m-1.5km. Yes, they are NPC pirates. I am the God Emperor of the NPC Pirate Empire. Server is CosmicPantheon. Me and Floridaskye are the admin team. I have given up admin powers to be pirate god.)
