I needed a station that I could build quickly. I needed to keep the costs down and the capsule requirement to a minimum. To this end I've created this starter station.

    1. 9 Factory blocks, configure to output X1, X10, and X100 products at a time.
    2. A Micro Assembler, and Capsule Refinery configured for X100 outputs each.
    3. Undeathinator
    4. Build Block
    5. Faction Block
    6. Shop Module
    7. 8 Storage blocks
    8. 5 Universal Standard Docks (USD) so you can have up to 5 ships docked at once.
    9. enough power to keep all your factories running at the same time.
    10. I used Ice crystals instead of white lights to keep the costs down.
Materials required beyond Crystal Composite and Metal Mesh:
    • 20 Mattise
    • 100 Hyttel
    • 140 Bastyn
    • 50 Fertikeen
    • 10 Noxc
    • 80 Sintyr
    • 680 ice (Ice crystal can be made in a factory with 10 regular ice blocks)

This is an excellent, inexpensive, starter station. Only immediate improvements were the need to locate docking modules in the center (instead of offset) from the doorways. Also took advantage of cargo module linking to significantly increase storage capacity of the locked storage modules - there's plenty of space available to do this on the underside of the station, where the power modules have been placed.

Next recommended steps, would be adding hull modules to clean up the station's exterior look, as well as point defense cannons to deal with griefers/snipers.

Thanks for the awesome review :)

The docking module offset is to account for a Universal Standard Dock (USD). Most all stations and ships use USDs now.

If I do an update, then I'll surely add cargo blocks.

    Thanks
