USS Valiant

    USS Valiant Mk 1.2

~Updated for Rail Docking and Rail Turrets~

With a slimmer profile, the Corvette-class USS-Valiant was designed to outmaneuver enemy ships. However, this comes at the cost of less shields and turrets. The Valiant is designed to support larger capital ships and take out enemy fighters. Due to its lack of a Jump-Drive or scanner, it is best suited for combat in faction controlled space and planetary patrol. It features crew quarters, core room, command bridge, and 2 airlocks.

Nice small, compact corvette (maybe more of a cutter?). 2 airlocks port and starboard and one unpressurized escape hatch off of the back of the cockpit. Lacks toilets but likely not for extreme long range missions (has beds though, probably do your business in bags ). Lack of scanners, jump drives, and proper hygiene facilities likely means the ship is designed for short 24-48 patrol missions within fairly quiet faction controlled sectors (lanched from home station or planet) or as part of combat operations when it can be launched from a jump-capable supercarrier. These considerations as well as combat stats seem to fit the hull class and the stated mission.
