Imperial TIE Vanguard
A variant of the TIE/RC Starfighter, the TIE Vanguard uses a more powerful sensor array and reduces the size of the upper half of the solar panels and sweeps outward to the side for less interference to the scanners. Still only designed for scout missions and without a hyperdrive like its predecessor, this model comes with added shielding to give extra protection to the information gathered.
Special Characteristics:
The TIE Vanguard like the TIE/RC has only a single mounted laser cannon located on the chin of the cockpit for defense. Still capable of high speeds, this model can quickly scout out areas with its scanner arrays. Like my previous TIE advanced and interceptor models, it uses a wing generator to provide extra power to the base entity.
