Rogue-Class Multipurpose Ship

    Rogue-Class Multipurpose Ship 2015-07-19

I wasn't exactly sure what kind of ship I wanted to build, so I threw in a bit of everything. Some parts salvager, some parts infiltrator, and a little bit of extra stuff.

    Stats:

The ship is fairly small and quick, making it good for getting in, out, and around a lot of places. Comes with an anti-missile turret for extra protection.

Although a bit cramped in some places, the interior is actually rather spacious given the ship's size. This is the main compartment, with access to the cockpit, core room, and engineering. It also has a small lift in the center that leads to the hangar.

The ship has a myriad of systems onboard, including a scanner, AMC (with 100% overdrive), stop effect (also 100%), salvage beam, shield-drain beam, radarjammer, and jump-drive (in the core room). Also comes with a faction module, and AI (accessed via the cockpit).

The hangar is of decent size, at least enough for the ships I've added. It comes with one multi-purpose shuttle (AMCs, salvagers, astrotech beams, radarjammer, 100% stop effect, and faction module), and a small 'mech' for salvaging and making repairs (also comes with a faction module). On the floor of the hangar is a guide rail system to help fit the ships into the hangar when docking. Just aim the docking beam at the end rail on the outside of the ship (when the doors are open), let it move into the center of the room, exit your ship, then press the button on the side of the hangar you wish to move the ship to. (Only works going in though. You'll actually have to fly the ships out.)

cool as a shuttle but omw... I think I just am waaay to hard on aesthetics that's why I haven't uploaded my designs. It takes me 6 months to perfect something before I am willing to upload it.

Sorry for not quite understanding, but why exactly did you rate this 1 star? Your review did not offer any constructive criticism about what could be improved (or the actual ship for that matter), instead you spoke only on your own displeasure with your own designs. If you have a problem with the design of my ship, I would ask that you be more specific so i can address whatever issue(s) it may be. Please either revise your review to more appropriately describe your opinions about the content, or give it a rating that makes more logical sense based on what you write. Thank you!
Like the previous ships of yours, this little ship is crammed full of things. You manage tight spaces very well and the extra nonessential detailing is a plus! Metal grills and hazard armor to name a few, give it that utilitarian look and feel that you would expect from a multi-role ship.

You should make a multi-role cruiser that has several downloadable mission packs. The Rickover Star Trek ship is like that. Has a frame and a plethora of cargo pods, shuttles, turrets, and stuff you can mix and match to come up with a mission specific loadout.

You could release a turret pack for it. Also a cargo pack that had containers and a space tug with push, pull, and stop effects. And a full on assault pack that adds dockable power capacitor/recharge tanks, a base plate that docks onto a universal rail or docking module that is loaded with anti-missile turrets. Kind of like an after market bolt on defense system.

It would be really neat if you incorporated this idea into one of your ME ships as your Cascade-class ship has some good space in it's hangars for things other than ships that I sometimes put in it.

    Keep releasing!

Thanks! I like your ideas, I'll have to look into them when I get the chance!
Hey -- this is a fun little ship! Nothing too incredible complex, but packed with features. The hanger is quite neat.
