[Lancea Heavy Industries] CT1000 Hermes

[Lancea Heavy Industries] CT1000 Hermes 1.0

    Lore:
The CT1000 Hermes is Lancea Heavy Industries' first foray into the commercial hauler market. Designed to be a general-purpose hauler to satisfy the needs of Mid-Rim spacers transporting loads of cargo to and from the Core-Worlds, the project was developed by engineers to be a relatively cheap but durable and feature-filled modular ship that meets the needs of Spacers everywhere. Sporting a rough, yet aesthetically polished exterior, the ship became popular with Mid-Rim Spacers looking for something besides the barebone industrial design of most cargo hauling starships.

    Stats:

    Features:
    • Standard utilities include scanner and jump drive.
    • Equipped with eight USD 2.0 compliant docks for fastening cargo modules and ingress hatches, each support docking detection and automatically open their airlock blast doors when a successful dock is detected. Modules and the inner ship spine are equipped with indicator lights to indicate free docks.
    • Supports a ship-wide implementation of a cargo transfer, with 130k cargo load per module, and 10k cargo per buffer space for transfer between modules on the ship body for a grand total of 790k cargo ship-wide. Each module is also equipped with an external USD 2.0 collar for quick transfers of cargo on a single container basis.
    • Equipped with a large amount of logic controls in the cockpit and hotbar accessible. Logic controls include toggle switches for landing gear, gravity, blinking navigation lights, dock controls for all USD docks, 2 expansion controllers for user modification, and activation switch for the ventral expansion port (expansion gear coming soon!)
    • Defenses include 2 rear facing and 1 forward facing PT108 Point-Defense Cylinder turrets with 360 degree rotation and 180 degree pivot.
    • Maintains a 2.5 Thrust ratio while at zero cargo load, ~.9 to .8 while under maximum load.
    • CT1000 .zip package contains separate SMENT for replacement L and R modules.

Note: The CT1000 is affected by a few in-game bugs
    • gravity does not cover rear section of the ship
    • logic-undock on the opposite ingress airlock will undock what the ship is docked to on the other ingress airlock
    • Ventral Extension rail docker is affected by the rotating rail docker bug when activated by logic.
