Intermission Escape-pod System by foodice11

    Intermission Escape-pod System by foodice11 2.0

    This is a little escape-pod, launch-bay combo I made.

The pod itself is fairly compact (5x5x5) and comes equipped with a seat, one medical cabinet, auto-propulsion, gravity, thrusters, a pre-charged jump-drive, lighting and clear signage and other countermeasures for panicking idiots.

The launch-bay is more customizable. Its only purpose is to know when to deploy the pod and to know when to close the ship-side door. It's roomy around the pod for a reason, and I don't recommend changing that.

When docking in a pod, make sure that when you're done, the doors are closed for roll-play/aesthetic reasons. It WILL ONLY LAUNCH IF the wireless module on the pod is connected to the dockside wireless module (not both ways) and the area trigger is turned off. The trigger area is set to the inside of the pod when it is docked, so make sure you don't activate it while connecting the wireless. Also, The core is blocked by a capsule, to ensure that you don't get in the core and use the rather slow thrusters as opposed to the propulsion switch.

I included the launch bay's smtpl and the escape pod's ship folder in the zip.

Feel free to change the hulls and use this in builds! Credit me if you like, and enjoy your time playing StarMade!

The bay is included in the zip as "Escape-pod_Dock.smtpl". you can use it by inserting it into the StarMade/templates folder in your starmade directory. Using it is as easy as going into build mode and selecting the load template option. Thanks for your review. It is much appreciated!
