Crystalline space dome [Shared for others to continue] v1

I started building this station in April 2017.


I originally planned to build a giant and complex ore refining industrial yard inside of it, but then figured that the highly utilitarian, industrial style of a refinery with its many machines and pipelines wouldn't fit nicely into a glass dome, which is more of an elegant, futuristic, sci-fi thing.

But since it turned out to have such a high construction quality, and since I imagine that many builders would have a lot of great ideas about content to fill such a space dome with, I decided to share it.

Maybe it doesn't come through from the pictures, but this thing is HUGE. Its dimensions are: 501 wide x 501 long x 162 tall, and it currently has around 750,000 blocks.

You could build a cyberpunk-ish city into it, or an artificial biome, perhaps a race track, and many other things. You could even use the Remove/Replace building tool to easily make the top part of the roof transparent too.


I hope someone will find a good purpose for it, and create a nice environment inside it.
If someone does something crazy with it, I would love to see
