This powerful fighter craft is a hunter-killer made for the distinguished and discerning pilot to bring to even the most formal of single-pilot duels, or large-scale fleet battles. Neo Echota Drive Yards is now offering the Bowtie Fighter Quickfire Edition!

Featuring chambering for defense, FTL, speed and recon, forward ablative armor, quad cannons, quad lock-on missiles and dual beam cannons. With a sleek, regular, compact shape and aft universal docking entrance, it's perfect for drone stacking in a large bay or quickly externally mounting one on a larger ship for personal use.

With a solid, undifferentiated thrust package and very spry shields, it makes an excellent multi-role fighter and scout, with a cargo capacity of 2.1k for looting and high-value cargo transport, which is nestled in the walls around the pilot to ensure that major cargo loss generally only happens with concurrent ship or pilot loss.
Just forward of the ship core on the port and starboard sides are two small, RP-blank crew cabins available to decorate as you please for long-duration missions, which double as ablative armor.

I hope everyone has fun with this little monster. As with most of my ships, this too is excellent for reaching pan-galactic cruising speeds of between 700-800 m/s using the Black Hole Slingshot maneuver for rapid travel anywhere, regardless of the presence of warp gates. It will also be easier to build in survival gameplay, due to a fairly limited variety of blocks being necessary to produce it.

Engineer's note to the Pilot: Under combat conditions, your new Bowtie Fighter WILL redline! This is ok! It is specifically designed at the edge of tolerances so that after initial volleys of fire are exchanged in a dogfight, your quad-linked weapons become rapid-fire. Should power become dangerously low, use the power boost provided to more than double your effective combat time before needing to disengage for a very brief interval to allow your systems to stabilize and recharge the power boost.
