The Razor is the first ship to be completed under the NFD banner. It is a medium frigate built with a large interior and lots of detailing without taking away to much from the systems.

Spoiler: NFD Frontier

The NFD Frontier is designed as an exploration ship and is one of the few ships that I will release without any weapons. The frontier is equiped with 2 jumpdrives, one for getting around and one for getting out of sticky situations. Having a friend to fly around with you is recomended. Thanks to MrTargareyan for doing the front of the ship.

The NFD Piranha is my first succesfull combat ship. It has one cannon system onboard but no turrets (in this release). The Piranha has good shielding and power systems for a ship of it's size.

The Runner is a mid-sized freighter with hefty shields and a good turret for dealing with those pesky pirates. It features a full interior, four cargo containers, a medium turret, and a jump drive; everything that a good freighter needs.

The Ant is a new micro salvager, fresh off the assembly lines ffron Nova Fleet Dynamics. Lightweight and good looking, the Ant is a great starter ship for any new players. It is armed with two small salvagers for collecting resources at the begining of the game.

DFN Cherokee SGC-121

A newer Siege Cruiser class vessel, the Cherokee is one of the first TRIBAL program ships developed by the DFN R&D department. It had the longest construction period of any DFN vessel (excepting the DFN Euphrates and Mass Relay 001, which are long-term constructions).

DFN Lytra FFG-103

A venerable frigate class vessel, this ship has been with us almost as long as the DFN existed. It saw combat in numerous theaters such as NASS, Illusive, and Elwyn. It was recently refitted for the ship trailer contest, and has apparently made it in.

Are the core room and/or interior going to function like escape pods and be detachable? Because that could work with limited joins, breakoff enabled, and some logic and dissies.

Do you mean near the ammo chain or at the front where the barrels come out? Of you mean by the front that panel that you see raised in the pic is the closest to those barrels. I'll post pics from different angles tomorrow.
