the installation zip includes a 2048 x 2048 texture replacement for the "simplestarfield.png" file which houses the warp tunnel effect. if you play any modern games on your rig, i don't expect you'll run into performance issues. if you like the visuals, you can always downscale the image to 1024 x 1024 or the game's original 512 x 512 px.
