    CRARS - Gyro Miner V1.01

Remember to rate! i make changes and refinements based on feedback

    (Update 1.01)
    -added some logic refinement
-made the salvage arms more pretty
-tuned the salvage arms for better resource collection
-moved the storage to be more accessable

The CRARS is the latest in automated salvaging tech, allowing a player to mine entire planets without having to move.

It was purposely designed to be as efficient, cheap, and cause as few server problems as possible. because of this is causes less server issues than your standard 15x15 waffle savager.

    Instructions:
    - Center your ship on a planets core exactly 325m away
    - The "ON" switch should be in your hotbar
    - the salvage array has its storage located on the inner salvaging arm close to the satalite main ship (look for hazard stripes :p)
-to position the arms manually use the controls located on the desk in the ship and follow instructions listed.

(please note that this miner is ineffective on standard single players and servers because it requires extended savager beam range to function, it was built with popular server configs in mind and works fine on any server with modified salvage beam range server configs)

Needs to be heavily modified to work as normal since this is very outdated.
May of once worked but now seems broken maybe a patch changed how it is supposed to function?

Great idea in theory, but does not seem to mine as indicated by the animation in the description.
I mean obviously the animation is sped up to more clearly show it's movement. The problem is the main arm attached to the core ship rotates, but the arm with the salvage beams does not seem to swing as shown, only seeming to move each time the 'ON' button is pressed, as in it will move to a fixed position and stays there until the button is pressed again. No constant rotation as indicated.

Also has a tendency to stop firing and rotating after a while, so you'll be required to keep and eye on it, to restart it when it does eventually stop. Due to the way it works it can be tricky to get it into a position to get it to mine effectively.

Hopefully the creator updates this ship at some point, This is the problem with a game like StarMade. Due to the way the game is patched many ships to download from SMD end up broken, never to be updated.

The way it seems to function and stop, it isn't really a complete or practical AFK miner as it stands unfortunately, may be a good base to build your own rotating miner from though.
I cant seem to fit it around a planet, It may be that the server i play on has larger planets, but it does work when i can fit it somewhere
Great design and inspiring usage of rails. Only downside is that the system has to be turned off and on every 45°.
even very good, but I do not know if it is just here that the second mining arm after a time stops running, rotate and only works the first arm (google translate)
    Pros:
-Mines a whole planet without moving the actual ship
    -AFK friendly
    -No lag caused
    -Cheap
    -Low block count

    Cons:
-Bulky, cant dock it to a base without a giant arc sticking out :(

Only a madman could have thought of this, the CR is lucky to have such a madman as our chief engineer XD
Beautiful miner my friend, Orion Fleetworks shall employ them proudly ;)
Efficient, good looking, hands free, lag free. Definitely the best planet miner out there for those looking for lag-free afk mining.
Even on my low-spec computer, this works really fine. Great use of the new rail rotators and wireless logic blocks! Glad to see something PRACTICAL come out of those rather than purely aesthetic concepts.
Really efficient and doesn't lag at all. I get hundreds and thousands of resources by just watching youtube :D
